today we’re going to break down how to start a
digital marketing agency with no money and no experience and when i say no money i literally
mean no money not investing any software right out of the gate not investing into 997 course
literally if you guys follow the exact steps in this video you’ll be able to go through get your
first client be able to fulfill for that client know exactly what you’re offering exactly what
you’re charging because i remember when i first started my own digital marketing agency about
eight years ago i didn’t know how to get my first client and i didn’t have any money to go through
and get that first client and then if i were able to even get a client i had no idea how to actually
fulfill for that client and so i want to break down how to get those clients how to fulfill for
those clients the exact services that you can go through and offer even if you have no marketing
experience no tech skills no money to get started and then how to scale that business up to a
5 000 or even eventually a 10 000 per month income so you can replace your full-time job and i
personally believe out of all the online business models starting a digital marketing agency is
the best the number one most profitable way to actually replace your full-time income you look
at amazon you look at shopify you look at some of these other platforms yes people show some big
revenue numbers but you have to sell a lot of items and usually when they’re having those high
revenue numbers it’s because they’re investing a lot into paid advertising whereas with a digital
marketing agency you can charge 500 even up to a thousand dollars per month or even more for your
services and it’s just you doing the labor the fulfillment and so that is all pure profit to
your business so let’s talk about first how to go through and get your first client so the first
thing that we want to do is we want to identify who we’re going to actually go through and serve
so you probably heard it before go through and niche down and pick a specific type of business
you’re going to go through and work with so a digital marketing agency is basically a business
where you’re helping small local business owners get more clients grow their business so think
about chiropractors dentists orthodontists real estate agents restaurant owners gym owners
anything like that we’re gonna go through and help them grow their business leveraging some
online tools and strategies so they can get more people coming in so they can make more money and
then because of that they’ll pay you a little bit of the money that they are making because you’re
helping them out right and so let’s say for this example we are going to go through and work with
dennis well what we want to do is we want to leverage facebook this is the way i got started
and i actually have a podcast where i interview a lot of very successful agency owners and they
mentioned this is the exact way they got started as well leveraging facebook and finding specific
facebook groups who are going to have your ideal target avatar in them the cool thing about this
is there are facebook groups of let’s say dennis or real estate agents or orthodontists with
literally thousands or tens of thousands of dentists real estate agents orthodontists whatever
type of business owner you’re going to work with and so you have this very specific group of
people who are going to be your exact client right and the great thing about it is you can
go through and connect with all those people and be able to offer them your services right so

say we’ve got a dentist and like hey what you got i’d really be curious to know how you can
go through and help me grow my business we’re gonna offer a few simple services so let’s
pop up right here you can see on my computer we’ve got google so if somebody types in dentists
near me they’re looking for a dentist in their specific area now these are what are called google
adwords up here at the top and we’re not going to actually get into this because this takes a lot
more time and it’s a little bit different sales pitch to go through and have somebody not only
want to invest in their marketing services but also invest more money on top of that into paid
advertising and which is this is going to go straight to google right well what we’re going to
do is we’re going to help them get their business set up on what is called google my business okay
and a lot of times they already have google my business set up but once they have google my
business set up we are gonna help them get online reviews and we’re gonna help them automate their
online reviews and don’t worry i’m going to show you guys how to do this all here in just a second
i’m going to show you exactly where to click what to do what systems go through and use but you can
see right here crawford leichmann dental they have 512 reviews okay vineyard heights dental they’ve
got 25 reviews this one has 115 reviews and so we want to show up in one of these top locations for
that specific area so the first thing we’re going to do is we’re going to help them with what
is called reputation management getting more online reviews because the more online reviews
they have the more five star online reviews the more likely they’re gonna show up up here in
the google rankings when someone types in dennis near me or dentist in whatever city you live in
right so that’s the first thing you want to do second thing we’re going to do is we’re going to
hook them up with what is called auto miscal text back and like i said i’m going to show you how to
set all this up 100 for free all it is is a simple click of your mouse so if you can click your mouse
you can use a computer you can make this happen right so what auto miss call text back is is if
somebody pulls up dennis near me and they called crawford leicester dental right here and they say
you know okay they call that number and they don’t pick up well a lot of times the office is busy or
if you’re working with a plumber or electrician they’re kind of like a one-man shop so they’re
busy they don’t really have time to go through and pick it up so what does the person searching for
dennis do the natural next thing they’re gonna do is called vineyard heights dental right well they
can see their clothes right now so they might go through and called smart pediatric dentistry
okay and so they’re just gonna go down the list until they get in contact with a dentist that
is around their area right well the cool thing about this auto ms called text feature is you’re
able to save a lot of these potential clients for your clients for your dentist that you’re
working with because if they go through and call this phone number and nobody picks up
which happens a lot with small local businesses we’re going to have an automated text be sent to
that person saying hey sorry mr call busy how can i help you and so now instead of going through
and calling the next person that person that is searching for a dentist they’re gonna go through
and text back and be able to start a conversation with that dentist and so that dennis is able to
save the deal right and so that’s another huge value add so first online reviews helping them get
more five-star reviews so they’re ranking higher up in google search engines next is auto miss
called text back number three is hard to show on a um on a desktop computer but on your mobile
phone you can see right here where it says website and directions there’s gonna be another icon that
says chat okay and so the cool thing about this is what chat does is if somebody’s searching for
dentists near me which a majority of searches happen on mobile phones they’re able to hit
chat and start a two-way texting conversation with that dentist or with that plumber with that
electrician or with whatever business you’re working with right and so those are three massive
services that the cool thing is it takes about five to ten minutes to set up one time and they’re
gonna work for you month after month and you can charge these small local businesses a monthly
ongoing service to be able to have access to these services that you’re providing now the last one so
we’ve got online reviews we’ve got the auto miss call text back we have the google chat one other
one that we’re gonna go through and offer because it’s gonna bring massive value to the client but
it’s very little work for you to go through and set up is what is called a web chat widget okay so
what a web chat widget is is this down here so if you pull up somebody’s website right here you see
down here it says hi i have a question about law hustle texas here now this is obviously working
with lawyers and different things like that but they can come over here click on this and
so what this web chat widget does is it starts a conversation with the website visitors and it’s
going to actually collect that person’s contact information and start a two-way text conversation
back and forth with the client all right so these are the four core services we’re going to go
through and offer so first the online reviews also known as reputation management number two is
the auto miss call text back number three is the google chat and number four is this website chat
widget now once we’re going through and posting on facebook and we’re getting some people interested
and we’re maybe dm’ing some of the people and they’re like yeah i want to go through and get
started if you think about it we have not spent any money at this point we’ve leveraged facebook
100 for free we’ve gone through watch this video so we know what services go through and provide
100 for free let’s say we have somebody who is ready to go through and get started now these
four services right here you can easily charge 500 per month for these services so once you have
somebody that’s ready to go through and get started you can charge as high as 500 per month
or if you want to go through and say hey i just want to go through and get some experience i’m
gonna maybe start out charging two three hundred dollars per month well the next thing that you’re
gonna do to actually accept payment from this person once you get somebody that’s interested
let’s say a dentist like we’re using this example you’re gonna use a software called
stripe so stripe is a payment processor and this is a hundred percent free to go
through and use the way stripe makes money is they just take a percentage of the transaction
so just like you go through and use a credit card at grocery store the credit card company is going
to take about two percent um of the transaction fee for convenience the same thing with stripe
they’re gonna take about two to three percent of the 500 of the 300 whenever a deal is actually
closed okay so you’re not paying any monthly software service subscription or anything like
that for stripe so what you’re going to want to do is go through and create a stripe account right
very simple very easy to go through and get set up and then once you’ve created the stripe account
what we want to do is create what is called a payment link okay and the payment link
is going to allow us to go through and send a link to the dentist is interested
in our services so we can accept the payment and this will connect directly with your bank
account so we’ll automatically transfer into your bank account and it transfers every 24 to 48
hours okay or if it’s on the weekend it’s gonna be the next business day and so you connect this
right with your bank account and what we can do is we can set up an automated monthly subscription
for these services okay and once again we have not spent any money yet all right so we’re gonna do
this is just a stripe demo account is once we’ve gone through create our account we’re going to
come over here to payments we’re going to click on payment links right here and we are going to
create a payment link okay so we’re going to say create payment link and we’re going to
give this a name so we’re just going to say we’ll just say digital marketing agency demo
and we’ll hit add new product okay so from here we’re going to say this is a 4.99 per month
service and this is going to be recurring and it’s going to be recurring every single month so
most software subscriptions if you think of like netflix they’re going to bill you every single
month hulu is going to bill you every single month so this is just going to be the same type of thing
you’re going to be having a software subscription monthly recurring billing every single month
you’re going to charge them 4.99 a month but like i said earlier the cool thing is about
these services we’re going to set up and i’m going to show you how to do that here in just a minute
is we set them up once they continue to work on autopilot without you having to go through and
spend hours and hours of time going through and setting all this up right and so we’re just going
to hit add product we’re going to hit continue and it’s going to automatically create this
payment link and so now what we do is we click create payment link and then we have this link
right here okay it says your link is ready to go the demo for 4.99 a month obviously you
name your plan whatever you want to name it and so we go through and click copy and so
now once we have a dentist a chiropractor orthodontist whoever our ideal target customer is
that’s interested like okay perfect let’s go here click here this is where you can go through and
process your payment and it’s gonna pop this up so you got 499 per month they’re going to put
in their email credit card information name hit subscribe and then from there you’re going
to see a payment come through on your account and then you’re going to have the the funds are
going to deposit directly into your bank account in 24 to 48 hours now as far as the setup goes
on this what we’re going to go through and do is we are going to go and leverage a software
called go high level now go high level is a great software because it automates all the things
that we just talked about it’s a software that you can run your own business and you can run all of
your clients businesses right now this software does cost money however the cool thing is is
before we actually even have to pay for this we’ve already processed the funds right we’ve
already got our first client we’ve already basically broke down what we’re going to go
through and sell them and we’ve already had them pay so that we don’t have to go through and

gonna go through and set these up these services this is what the actual software looks like

through and set up the automated online reviews with google right well what you can do is you can
either right here from the launchpad you can have them connect their google account because they’re
going to need to connect their google account that has their google my business profile on
it right so just like literally click connect and it’s going to have them sign in to google
and it’s going to be super easy to go through and do that or you can come over here settings
and then you click on integrations right here and you just sign in with google okay that takes
care of all of the online reviews automation okay all you have to do is connect that so do you
feel pretty confident pretty comfortable you can go through and have them connect their google
account just literally click the button sign in with google have them sign their google account
and it automatically pulls everything over all the software everything on the backend
takes care of all of itself right then the cool thing is is that google chat feature we
talked about that pops up on a mobile phone which we didn’t see because it’s only on mobile phones
is when we pull this in it automatically creates that google chat feature so when somebody’s typing
a dentist near me on their phone it automatically pops it up and so they’re automatically able to
go through and start a two-way text conversation pretty cool right so we’ve already got with
just one simple click one simple connection two of the services are already knocked out of the
way now the next service what we’re going to do is come over here to business info and all we have to
do is literally this miscalled text back we just cl check this on enable miscalled text back okay
and then we’re going to save this and if you want to go through and like change customize that what
the text is going to send out so if somebody calls they miss a call and it says hi this is john doe’s
dentistry i saw you missed a call how can i help right so that’s what it says and it’s going
to auto populate with whatever the name of the businesses that you put in for the business and so
literally the first two services we just connect google account the second service we just go
through check on enable miscall text back so we’ve got three of the four services already done that’s
pretty easy right and then what we’re gonna do for the fourth and last service if you can
copy and paste you can make this happen so we’re just gonna come back here and we’re gonna
go over to sites and remember it’s this little web chat widget that we’re going to go through and
install and so we come over here to chat widget and right here all we have to do we can go through
and customize what it says customize the image customize anything that we want to and then we
just hit get code which i don’t know how to code if you don’t know how to code don’t worry it’s
literally as simple as copy and paste so you’re just going to click on this it copies the code and
then you’re going to go through to your what your client’s website provider and you’re gonna say hey
paste this code in the body or footer section of the website okay and so if you’re able to get
access to their website like let’s say they use wix or wordpress or one of those big website
companies just go through ask their support hey where is the body or the footer section
for the website so i can paste this code in and their support team is going to know because
it’s very common that people need to go through and copy paste code in there right or if they
already have a website developer you can just say hey i just need you to paste this in the body or
the footer section of the website and then we’re good to go okay and so that takes about just a
couple of minutes going through and doing that and then this is all set up you never have to
text touch it again the online reviews is all set up the auto miss call text back set up the google
chat is all set up and so now you are ready to go through and get more clients it was as simple
as that and so now you got your first client you’re not having to pay for the software until
literally the third payment comes in remember okay it hits your credit card after the second
payment so now you’re already thousand dollars in the green and then you don’t actually have
to pay that off until the credit card payment comes due which more than likely you’re gonna have
that third payment come in and meanwhile during these next couple of months while you’re going
through and getting collecting these payments and you’re setting these up on the software you’re
focused on getting more and more clients and so if you’re making 500 per month per client after
10 clients you can go through and make 5 grand per month after 20 clients 10 grand per month and you
can just go through and continually stack this up and your earning potential is unlimited right and
so if you think about it 10 clients all that is is two per week okay two per week for a month and
you’ve got ten clients okay or after two months it’s two per week for two or two months that’s
20 clients you’re making 10 grand per month right now obviously in the beginning it might
be a little more difficult might be a little slower going through and getting clients but then
after you get your first client your second client your third client your fourth client you’re able
to go through and network with other dentists that they know or other orthodontists or chiropractors
plumbers electricians whatever business you’re gonna go through and focus on and be able to get
more referrals and continue networking with people to grow your business right so anyway guys i hope
